Some
bark has been left on this 6 holed unsplit Incense Cedar branch
flute
creating a nice contrast to the exposed
and finely finished grain. This flute is concert tuned and
plays
the minor pentatonic modes 1
& 4, the Gypsy Scale
and a few upper octave notes. American bison lacing with red
horn
bone beads holds the bird to the nest.
The flute measures
17" in
length and the branch
was gathered from the forest on Palomar Mountain in San Diego
County,
CA.
