English Walnut branch flute
in B minor pentatonic, modes 1 & 4
Unsplit branch flute wiith Red Jasper inlay in some of
the bark crevices,
giving an impression of red lichen
growing on the branch. Red bone beads on American Bison lacing
holds the bird to the nest. The
branch was gathered from an old English Walnut grove that grows
along San Marcos Creek in north San Diego County, California.
