Elderberry Branch Flute in Cm

Tuned to a high Cm (A=440), this solid bore Elderberry (Sambucus mexicana) branch flute sings with a bright and resonant voice, as heard in the sound sample. The bark has been left on and the knots have been inlaid with crushed turquoise.  The bird has been fitted with a cedar shoe and a drain hole has been designed into the air chamber to help prevent wet-out.  Elk leather lacing secures the bird to her nest.  A beautiful drawstring flute bag has been custom made for this flute by Sabine.
