this naturally beautiful Tree Tobacco (Nicotiana glauca) Prayer Flute is empowered with 16 high quality Titanium Quartz crystal points,
set like Spring buds into each branchlet stub spiraling up around the flute, allowing for the crystals to join in harmonious synergy
with the prayerful spirit of Tobacco.  Whenever this flute's air column vibrates in the expression of its sound,
it also vibrates the quartz crystals, creating through the piezoelectric effect a subtle electricity that amplifies

This very special flute plays with the slightest of breaths.  Besides the standard mode 1/4 scales, she also plays the Gypsy scale
as well as the C major scale (starting on the second hole up) without half-holing.  Her sound chamber, as with all Dryad Flutes,
was bored out unsplit, honoring the strength, character and integrity of the Tree Tobacco's growth rings, with a
slightly tapered 1 1/4" diameter.  Considering her length and all of her crystals, this magical flute is very
comfortable to hold, weighing in at only 1.64 lbs.

The full length of the flute measures 34" in length, with four tuning holes. The finger holes are
ergonomically offset for ease of playing.  The spacing from center to center of the holes,
from low to high:

Right hand: 1 1/2" and 1 1/4", Left hand: 1 1/2" and 1 1/4"  
Hole diameters are (from low to high): 7/16", 3/8", 3/8", 3/8", 3/8", 3/8"

The side-blown mouthpiece was created from an existing branchlet stub. 
  Deer leather lacing secures the bird to its nest.  To help prevent wetout, the bird has been fitted with a cedar shoe.
This Tree Tobacco flute has been well sealed, inside and out, so that neither of the alkaloids in Nicotiana glauca
(nicotine and anabasine) come into physical contact with the player.

Tree Tobacco ( Nicotiana glauca ) is a species of wild tobacco native to South America that can grow to the size of a small tree.  
It has naturalized to other parts of the world, including here in Southern California where the Cahuilla Indians used its leaves
"interchangeably with other tobacco species in hunting rituals and as a poultice to treat swellings, bruises, cuts, wounds, boils,
