Measuring 18 1/2" in length and concert tuned to a G# minor pentatonic, modes 1 & 4, it plays the Gypsy scale as well as 2 upper octave notes. Knot checks and bark crevices have been inlaid with crushed malachite stone. Deer lacing with malachite and horn bone beads holds the bird to the nest. The branch for this flute was gathered from a grove of Coast Redwood trees that grow at the beautiful Descanso Gardens. price includes U.S. shipping cost, "How to Play and Care For Your Dryad Flute" booklet, a lined felt drawstring flute bag and a quality guarantee.
