Open to flutes of all cultures, world instruments, percussion, and players at all levels of experience. The intent here is to create a conscious, healing and loving space where music from the heart can be shared. Our last gathering was on Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 noon as part of the Earth Day Celebration at Panhe The indigenous village of Panhe was the historical home of the Juaneño / Acjachemen people and continues to be used as a ceremonial and reburial site. The flute circle will happen from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, through a solar powered sound system. Other activities, starting at noon, will include Native American Singers, Dancers, Speakers, Storytelling, Basketry Demonstration, Native Plant Demonstration, Native Foods, Guided Walks & Children's Games. This event is located within San Onofre State Beach at San Mateo Campground, so there is normally a $15.00 day use fee to enter, although for this event, FREE round-trip shuttle service will be provided by the San Onofre Foundation from Concordia Elementary School parking lot (3120 Avenida del Presidente, San Clemente) from 9:30 am until 4:00 pm!
