stand (dowel removed for photo) The bark has been left on this English Walnut unsplit branch flute, with long veins of Red Jasper stone inlaid into what were deep crevices on the left side of the branch and in the bird. Measuring 21" in length, black tanned elk lacing with brass and Red Jasper beads holds the bird to the nest. The branch was gathered from a wild grove of English Walnut trees that grow along San Marcos Creek in San Marcos, California |
